The PTT switch on the AV6 is located on the rear of the throat mic housing under the strap. It requires minimal pressure (3.0N or 0.67 pound force) to activate the integral switch and it is rated for 500,000 cycles of operation. By pressing the PTT switch the user ensures a solid connection between the throat and the microphone element. Additionally the AV6 contains breakthrough technology that is revolutionary in Throat Mic design. It also has the ability to function with digitally encrypted radio networks. And the two prong speaker option plug allows users to attach their selection of Speaker Options to further customize the accessory to give you your AVENGER SOLUTION.

When you are crawling on the ground you don’t have to worry about it going off by accident The AV6 is sealed and waterproof, the hypo-allergenic silicone rubber housing is held comfortably in place with a slip-resistant, expanding neck band, adjustable to just about anyone’s neck.
