In designing the Tactical 6-S for use in hunting and shooting activities, Peltor carefully weighed the need for hearing protection and the need to hear. The result is a hearing protector that significantly improves what you want to hear.
Weak sounds are amplified and loud noises are reduced to protect your hearing at all times. The electronic circuitry reacts to provide immediate protection against all kinds of sudden impulsive noises
A built-in stereo amplifier enhances the ability to listen to and localize sound sources that normally cannot be heard. Each cup has its own microphone, receiver and amplifier providing true stereophonic reception with separate volume controls.
