Peltor ComTac ACH Tactical Headsets

The COMTACTM A-C-H is the 3rd generation of COMTAC Tactical Communication Headsets from Peltor®. Its new cup profile is designed specifically for the Advanced Combat Helmet for better fit and improved comfort. Peltor offers COMTAC MICH Kits which are field-proven, user-preferred substitutes to the existing MICH system.
The COMTAC ACH is the highest-rated (passive) hearing protector available to the Military (NRR 21). The headset features external microphones for "talk-thru" capability so today's warfighter can maintain situational awareness while still protecting their hearing. In the tradition of Peltor COMTAC headsets, the A-C-H is built to military environmental and ballistic standards to ensure its reliability in the harsh war environment

Joseph M on 17 Oct 2011 asked "I have an existing PTT on my Motorola XTS 2500 radio. Will the downlead on the Comtac ACH be compatible out of the box?"
CSUK, Inc. DBA SRS Tactical replied: If your Peltor PTT part number has a -02 on the end then it will be compatible. This denotes that it is NATO wired, which is how the Comtac ACH headset is configured.
